Part Five, Entry 2 (Videos): Epoch of Laodicea - Pangs of the Apostate Church in Modernity; Manifestation - Fruit of the Spirit or fruit of the flesh

PLEASE CHALLENGE MY BLOG ENTRIES WITH PRAYER & TAKE THE TIME TO STUDY, RESEARCH, AND COMPARE MY WORDS WITH THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE, TO ENSURE THEY ARE IN AGREEMENT.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  2 Timothy 2:15

Manifestation: Fruit of the Spirit or fruit of the flesh

On the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4) the apostles received the promise Jesus made to them; that after His death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven (John 14:15-18) God the Father would give them another Helper, the Spirit of truth, God the Holy Spirit so not to leave them, to leave us, orphans.

Acts 2:1-4 (NKJV) -

1 When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.

3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

The Holy Spirit descending upon the apostles

In Galatians 5:22-23 apostle Paul tells the church what the Fruit of the Spirit are, and what they are not (Galatians 5:19-21).

Galatians 5:22-23 (NKJV) –

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Galatians 5:19-21 (NKJV) –

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

For this blog entry, I want to ask a simple question; if you and/or today's church had a light cast upon you/it based on Galatians 5:22-23 & 19-21, which fruit would you and others see? Fruit of the Spirit or fruit of the flesh? Based on your answer, please review my October 13, 2020 entry, "Part Five, Entry 1: Epoch of Laodicea - Pangs of the Apostate Church in Modernity," more specifically, the bible verses I had included in the post, and don't forget to throw some prayer into the mix.

Here is the sinner’s prayer if you are moved to give your life to Christ, and please send me an email if you would like me to say a prayer for you –

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.”
