Part 2: For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood - "Who & What are these dark forces, and where do they come from"

PLEASE CHALLENGE MY BLOG ENTRIES WITH PRAYER & TAKE THE TIME TO STUDY, RESEARCH, AND COMPARE MY WORDS WITH THE WORD OF GOD, THE BIBLE, TO ENSURE THEY ARE IN AGREEMENT.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

“(10) Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. (11) Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (12) For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."    Ephesians 6:10-12 KJV

The Dance of Death/Danse Macabre  (1493) by Michael Wolgemut

In Part One of For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood, I concluded the entry with the same questions I asked at the beginning, “Who and what exactly are these dark forces we must stand against in Ephesians 6:11-12, and where do they come from?” And, shared three videos from the YouTube channel Chemlin Production titled World Deception pt. 27, pt. 28 and pt. 29 of an annual rave/techno dance/music festival in Europe called Qlimax (2000 to present). If you have not watched any of the videos, I suggest checking out one or all of them.

I believe each of the videos are examples of ‘who’ we are wrestling or fighting against, and demonstrates one of the ways this spiritual warfare talked about in the Bible, the battle for the souls of humankind is raging and being fought on both the physical and spiritual plane. The producers and DJs of Qlimax may say, “It’s all just entertainment and fun!” This may be true. But I would also have to say I believe they are conditioning the minds and hearts of young people, and priming their souls for the days talked about in Revelation 13.

In addition to the videos, below are themes of the festival they have had in The Netherlands since 2003, and admittedly, they state the purpose of the festivals. Examples are in the introduction of their 2005 festival ‘Science & Religion’ (Video One - Part One: For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood video - World Deception pt27, posted July 1, 2020); 1 min. 33 sec. into the video they talk about “25,000 infected souls,” 1 min. 49 sec. they say “Hail Satan,” 2 min. 23 sec. they talk about “Opening the gates of hell,” and 3 min. 08 sec. they say “The devil is a DJ.” The other videos I posted on July 1, 2020 have similar and sometimes more intense proclamations.

My reason for focusing on the Qlimax festival (other iterations of the festival are Defqon. 1 and Q-Dance) is to show one of the ways Satan and demons openly proselytize their intentions to preach eternal damnation, and they admittedly, call their event a church as they do in their “Headhunterz | Defqon.1 at Home 2020” video at 0.46 seconds into the video. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Home 2020 presents Headhunterz without an audience.

Now, lets explore the origins of Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12); Satan (Job 1:7); The Devil (1 Peter 5:8); fallen angels (Jude 1:6); Nephilim (Genesis 6:4); where devils and demons (Luke 8:30) are said to come from, and their hierarchy; the role of the Antichrist and the False Prophet (Revelation 13); and, the role(s) of antichrists (1 John 2:18) and false prophets (1 John 4:1) play in influencing humankind in preparing for the end times.

Anunnaki relief (n.d. antiquity)

The account of Lucifer (Isaiah 14:12) and one third of the heavenly angels or sons of God (Old Testament) fall from grace because of pride is well known, so I will not talk about them at this time, but there was another fall that is less known, about 200 sons of God called The Watchers (aka Grigori, fallen angels) lead by an angel named Samlazaz (also called Semyaza) before the Great Flood mentioned in Genesis 6:2-4 and the Biblical apocrypha, ‘Book of Enoch’ that happened on Mount Hermon in Syria (southern slopes are located in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights); Lebanon[2].

The fall of the Watchers is not preached about in many Christian churches today, but during the AD first century church, Enoch and the book of Enoch were part of canonical scriptures and  mentioned in Jude 1:14-15, Hebrews 11:5, and Luke 3:37. Additionally, the story of their off springs, the Nephilim (aka giants) also known by their Sumerian/Mesopotamian name Anunnaki has become a popular topic and integrated into popular culture on programs like The History Channel: Ancient Aliens, the CW channel Supernatural television series, and the three part series Fallen on the Free Form channel to name a few.

In each of the TV series mentioned above, Nephilim are presented as either benevolent and/or malevolent beings; or a person unaware of what they are until their 16th or 18th birthday when their angelic half awakens; and/or, they meet someone like themselves, that are half-human and half-angel, who explains to them what they are. In almost every instance, the characters in these TV series are seeking redemption and/or are prophesied to be a savior for Nephilim-kind or humankind.

Part Three: For We Wrestle Not Against Flesh and Blood, I will explain who the Watchers are, why they fell from their heavenly station, who Nephilim are and what happened to them after the Great Flood, and how this all relates to the Qlimax festival, contemporary popular culture, and the Judeo-Christian church.

Here is the sinner’s prayer if you are moved to give your life to Christ –

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name. Amen.”
